It’s very simple. Loosen the MuC belt and your cup will stand up on its own. Put the MuC belt back around the unfolded cup. Done!

Your MuC is made of very resistant and durable materials. The hard plastic used is extremely robust and abrasion-resistant and the soft parts made of silicone rubber are UV-resistant and tear-resistant. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee that the MuC will withstand every violent impact.

Of course! Your MuC is made of only two different materials. Silicone rubber and ABS hard plastic. Since the individual components are separable, you can easily disassemble the MuC and return it to the material cycle.

A small part of our MuC – the silicone – currently still comes from our long-term partner in China. However, we are working on sourcing this part from Germany as well. All other components come from Franconia, where the cup is also assembled, packed and shipped. Therefore, our MuC is “Made in Germany”.

Yes, this is not a problem. The MuC can withstand all standard household dishwashers. However, if the MuC has been customized – for example, with the logo of your company / your university – we recommend that you clean the cup by hand.

The materials used for the MuC are absolutely food safe. Nevertheless, we recommend cleaning the MuC with hot water and detergent before first use to remove any production residues.

Absolutely! Your MuC is also happy about cold drinks or other hot beverages, such as tea. In addition, you can also fill it with small snacks, such as fresh fruit. There are no limits to your creativity, except the filling volume of 350 ml.

Depending on the beverage and your individual temperature perception, the cup can be perceived as warm to hot. However, if you want to be absolutely sure, it is best to hold the cup by the upper ring made of hard plastic. ABS has very good insulation properties and should not get significantly warmer than when it is empty.

The cup is made of ABS and hard plastic and silicone, because both are very resistant and durable materials. We follow the “ReUse thought” and want to ensure that you can reuse the cup as often and as long as possible. In addition, the cup is so very flexible and lightweight. Two good criteria for taking your MuC with you wherever you go!

Yes, we can reassure that the MuC is absolutely food-safe. It is free of any plasticizers, BPA or other harmful substances. Did you know that the silicone, the way in which we use it, is also used for ice cube trays or baking pans?
